Hopefully many of you have already discovered the wonderful new program designed specifically for Catholic women like you and me—EWTN’s The Catholic View for Women. I want you to be sure to mark your calendars for this Friday, August 12 at 6:30 pm ET and tune into EWTN or online at www.EWTN.com for Episode Number 6 of the show, which will tackle the topic “Women and the Church through the Centuries”.
The Catholic View for Women is a unique program, blending the skills and voices of three wonderful hostesses—Janet Morana, Astrid Bennett Gutierrez and Teresa Tomeo. Each of the ladies brings a unique perspective, but together they find so many ways to share their faith in a way that is enriching, enjoyable and full of energy. Another special bonus is the live chat held online immediately after the show airs at www.ewtn.com/catholicviewforwomen.
I’ve marked my calendar and am going to be tuned in to watch and also to take part in the chat after the show this Friday. The topic the ladies will take on this week is of special interest for me, but I also think it’s incredibly important that we show a strong voice of support for this type of programming. By watching the program, joining in the chat, and spreading the word to our friends and parishes, we increase the likelihood of future television options that not only entertainment, but that also enrich our spiritual lives.
