Update From Faith & Family Magazine

a note to our subscribers

Many readers have been asking about the September/October issue of Faith & Family magazine, and understandably so – because none of you received one.

This summer, the same kinds of pressures that have recently closed several secular publications caught up with Faith & Family.

Financially, we were unable to print and mail the September/October 2009 issue of the magazine on or even close to schedule, so we made the painful decision not to print it at all. In order to honor our commitment, your subscription will be extended by one issue.

It deeply saddened us to have to make this decision about an issue we had worked so hard to produce. We are doing all that we can to secure our financial future so that we never have to make such a painful, discouraging decision again. On October 30, we mailed a letter to all of our active subscribers describing these circumstances. If you have not yet received yours, it will be arriving soon.

Thanks to a generous donation from Pioneer Enterprises, the November/December 2009 issue of Faith & Family is now in the final stages of production and will be arriving in your mailbox in mid-December. Pioneer Enterprises is a company “working to build a better world through sustainable practices in agriculture” and they are “proud to be part of the team at Faith & Family Magazine, a ministry dedicated to building a better world one family at a time.”

We owe them a debt of gratitude for their generous support. Their help has made it possible for us to continue everything we do – from publishing the magazine to providing free online content to encourage and support Catholic families.

For five years in a row, Faith & Family has won the Catholic Press Association’s General Excellence award. We remain committed to delivering that same excellence by serving Catholic families and bringing them closer to Christ both in print and online — and anywhere else the future takes us.

If you have questions or concerns about your Faith & Family subscription, please see this page for customer service contact information.

We thank you all for supporting our publication, and we pray that God will bless you and your family always.

P.S. I would be remiss in my duty to Faith & Family if I failed to mention that as a non-profit organization, we are dependent upon donations to ensure our future stability. If you can help, and you’d like to, please contact Mike Lambert at (203) 230-3805 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
