Back-to-School Umi Shoes Giveaway

Win a free pair of Umi shoes for your child

UPDATE: Contest now ended. Comments closed.

Umi shoes are flexible, supportive, built to fit, and go the distance.

But mostly I just care that they are supportive of growing feet and ... absolutely adorable. Really, this is seriously beautiful footwear for children of all ages.

So imagine how widely I smiled when Umi asked if I might have some children who could try out their shoes for a review. Ummm, yeah I might just have a few shoeless kids around here.

They didn’t quite send me 8 pairs of shoes (go figure) but they did send a few. And Gabby has been positively delighted with the comfort and style of her newly flowered feet. In honor of cooler temperatures and the onset of school, we’ve been putting away sandals and enjoying the look and feel of Umi beauties these days. Gorgeous leather, pretty flowers, proper foot support, and easy velcro straps ... what more could we want?

For younger kids and boys, the Umi line has more “manly” styles with rugged velcro straps. There is something just plain beautiful about a 3-year-old being able to put on and take off his own shoes.

The only improvement I would suggest to Umi would be implanting a microchip in each of the shoes so that, when a kid forgets them under his bed, at the lake, or in the backseat of a neighbor’s van, they can be relocated easily using GPS. What? Unrealistic? A girl can dream, can’t she?

And now is your family’s chance to try a pair of Umi shoes as well.

Umi is offering a choice of any pair of shoes from their catalog to one lucky Faith & Family Live reader.

To enter for your chance to win, you must have a U.S. or Canadian shipping address. Just leave a comment on this post with a valid email address (won’t be published or shared). I’ll accept entries until Thursday, September 4 at 3:00 pm EDT. After that, I will draw a random winner and announce it here on the blog.

Many thanks to Umi shoes for sponsoring this giveaway and good luck to all of you!
