Bad 80’s Hair

Thank goodness those days are history

OK, Danielle threw down the gauntlet, so of course I am compelled to rise to the challenge and share with you the results of my own little trip down memory lane over at yearbookyourself.com.  Being the old lady of the Faith and Family blogging team, I graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California in 1981.  The truth of the matter is that my real yearbook photo was nothing like this one - I was one of those long, straight hair girls with no bangs.  But it’s kind of fun to imagine that what might have been (not!!) had I given in to the big hair craze!

My hair was long and straight in high school and didn’t get to be truly “big hair” ever, but I did succumb to getting my hair permed inthe early 90’s....YIKES!

Lisa,
I think I may have done the big hair once or twice in those years, but my 1982 graduation picture sported straight hair...if I am remembering WAY BACK THEM correctly. By the way, I went to Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance. We were probably at the same football game once or twice!

In school in Dallas, we used to call that look “fried, dyed and stacked up high.”

I sported a very cute Dorothy Hamil haircut in my yearbook picture.
