Be Thou My Vision

A song for Saturday
I heard this song a few weeks ago and it’s been haunting me for the past few weeks - the tune reminds me of my Irish music playing son who’s now living on the other side of the country and the lyrics remind me to trust the Father in heaven who loves us both so dearly.  Enjoy!

it is lovely, we sing this in our choir periodically,  and it is very prayerful and poignant! thanks for sharing this version.

That is one of my favorites hymns! We love this version sung by L’Angelus. The first few lines are sung in Gaelic:

Charlotte - thanks so much for that link!!  Honestly I RAN to their website and bought their version from CD Baby - it’s absolutely gorgeous!  Thanks for sharing…

I’ve had the privilege of meeting this family band - L’Angelus - and they are one of the most inspiring and beautiful families I’ve ever met. Their younger children prayed to Maximillian Kolbe for twins, and their mother laughed… then had twins, named Max and Kolbe smile They also adopted two children who had been abused and were walking on the side of the road. I highly recommend purchasing their CDs - great, joyful, beautiful music from a faith-filled, wonderful family!

This was played at our wedding.  Love it!

We also had it at our wedding! I just love it; beautiful lyrics.

I’ll follow everyone’s vibe: love it, love this version, and love when we sing it at Mass.  Thanks!

We sang it at Mass tonight, believe it or not! smile

I grew up singing this song and always loved it.  Nice to remember!

“Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O ruler of all.”

Love it! love it! love it!- Lisa, you have the best taste!

Finding a cure for fixing hemorrhoids is something all who suffer from the problem should know about as the latter entails a lot of discomfort, pain, itching and skin irritation. What more, in the case afflicted pregnant women who suffer from piles? However, since they are often part of the body discomforts pregnant women suffer from in their delicate condition, the treatment must also be done carefully and with the safest methods possible.
