Beware The Giant Hand Of Condescension

Not to ignite another heated internet discussion about how heated internet discussions can get, but…

this is too amusing not to share.

Thanks for the morning laugh!  This was hilarious!

Loved this! We can take each other much too seriously when we can’t see each other face-to-face and maybe even crack a smile.

That was hilarious and true.  As someone who has plenty of experience being “spanked” for disagreeing with the majority opinion I can also admit to being guilty of the spank as well, usually objecting to what I see as an overly emotional tone in someone’s post.  Probably everyone who spends enough time on internet forums is guilty of the spank at some point even if they don’t realize it.

Why is spanking bad? I do not have children (yet) but I was spanked while a child…I don’t feel like it did me harm. I learned my lesson quick for back-talking or showing MAJOR disrespect….
please enlighten me… in a nice way. (don’t make me cry! LOL) smile

Read the link; that should help with the enlightenment.  grin

Oh geez… I didn’t even see the link…I am such a goober. Maybe I need a spanking to wake up! LOL
Elizabeth

Thanks Anna smile

I like those reminders to assume the best of people. So often we judge quickly. And so often we don’t know the particulars of a situation.

Just the other day I was supposed to have my daughter somewhere at 1pm. So we are waiting on Oak St. for 40 minutes and no one is there and I’m mad thinking that they are so unprofessional, etc, etc.  Then they call and ask me why I’m not there. Well I was supposed to be on Oak Heights St. and I read the location incorrectly so it was all my fault that she was an hour late. That ought to teach me not to judge others so harshly but it doesn’t because I’ve done it before.

Sometimes when I read an angry comment I try to remember that they probably just misunderstood and not to take it personally.

I feel like this post is talking down to me. You have a lot of nerve to linking it;D

love, love, LOVED this-hysterical!
