Catholic Living Contest

UPDATE: Comments now closed. I have my work cut out for me here—I’ll announce the winner sometime this weekend!
###
What are all of these kids reading?
Why it’s the January/February 2009 issue of Faith and Family magazine, of course. Have you gotten yours yet?
Voted best general-interest magazine by the Catholic Press Association six years in a row, Faith and Family is chock full of practical support, spiritual inspiration, beautiful images, and the latest reviews from a Catholic perspective. Faith and Family magazine makes a perfect Christmas gift for every mom and family.
And now, here’s your chance to win a free subscription for yourself or some lucky person on your Christmas list.
I thought we’d get a little creative with this giveaway. Since we at Faith and Family call ourselves “the magazine and daily blog of Catholic living,” to enter this giveaway, write a haiku about Catholic living in the comments section of this post. Haiku is easy—3 lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.
I won’t be fussy about how the theme is related to Catholic living. For example, I LOVE this one that one of my sisters wrote a while back (I won’t name her because she’s as shy as she is awesome):
The world is in flux.
Things change, move and alter, but
Laundry is always.
Laundry is definitely part of Catholic living!
You must have a U.S. mailing address to enter. I’ll accept entries until midnight EST on Thursday, December 11. You can enter as many times as you like, as long as you have an original haiku for each entry. The one I like best (and I reserve the right to ask for help with the judging) will win a free year’s subscription to Faith and Family magazine.
So what are you waiting for? Get creative!
