Celebrate The Pope's Anniversary

sign up to say a rosary for Benedict XVI
Reuters

June 29th—appropriately, the Solemnity of Ss. Peter & Paul—the Holy Father will celebrate his 60th anniversary of ordination.

Catholics world-wide are invited to participate in 60 hours of adoration for vocations, and parishes across the country are joining in.

You can download a prayer card to remind you from the USCCB website.

I like the novena for priests we’re already in the middle of better, and the timing couldn’t be more apt.

Wouldn’t it be nice as well to offer 60 rosaries for Benedict’s intentions from the Faith & Family community?

Leave your pledge in comments if you’re able and so inclined. Thanks!

as of Wednesday evening (EST), we’re at 27

Put me down for two!

I’ll pray a rosary for the Pope.

Our family will pray 1 Rosary for our beloved Pope!

Our family will pray a Rosary for the Holy Father.

Our family will, also, pray a rosary for the beloved Holy Father.

Definitely will offer up my next 2 rosaries for the intentions of our Holy Father.

I’ll gladly say a rosary for the Holy Father’s intentions. (Ha ha! My capcha phrase is “say83”. That’s a bit ambitious for me.)

I will happily offer a rosary for our Pope.

Keep promoting this.  I skimmed the original entry and did not notice that the F and F community was going to give our beloved B16 a spiritual bouquet of rosaries until I read the comments.  Include one rosary from me! Thank you for doing this. I contacted our diocese about observing the 60th sacerdotal anniversary, and there is nothing planned.  No 60 hours of adoration in this neck of the woods(Virginia).

You’re right, Margaret. I just changed the sub-head to make it more clear we’re collecting pledges. We’re at 12, as of 10 AM EST, 6/26

I’ll pray my next three rosaries for Pope Benedict.  God bless and protect him today and always!

THAT IS MY BIRTHDAY!! smile Definitely going to say a rosary and visit the adoration chapel that day. What to hear some else pretty cool? The Pope’s birthday is on my husband’s birthday-and now we find out his anniversary is on mine…AWESOME! smile

2 Rosaries from us!

sure thing!

Count the Lunt Family of Sparks NV in…

I will offer 1 Rosary for the Holy Father!

I will pray a rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament tomorrow at our home parish, Sts. Peter and Paul, perfect!

Will add my daily rosary to his intentions!

I will offer up one rosary for the pope today.

I shall pray a Rosary today for our Pope Benedict XVI

Our family will offer a rosary for our Holy Father today.  God bless him.

Today is Wednesday - count me in!

Prayed a rosary for the Holy Father at Adoration last night!

Will say a rosary at my Holy Hour June 30.
