Circle Media Family

Last week Danielle was scheduled to come to Circle Media for the “closing” of the Spring 2010 issue. Not only were we blessed to have Danielle in the office, but also Ambrose, Stephen, and Juliette Bean! Apparently coming to Circle Media is quite the thrill for the Bean children.
Ambrose, Juliette and Stephen attended our long editorial meetings as we chatted about the finalists for the 2009 Writing Contest, the content for the upcoming issues, and the plans for a Faith & Family conference sometime in the Fall (more details later).
It was so nice having Lynn Wehner and Danielle in one room. I felt like we got so much accomplished. Stephen had other thoughts about our long meeting: “I’m not sure what they do. I think they make a magazine. I’m not sure how all that talking makes a magazine.” Hilarious. And I thought he was the quiet kid.
Later, while Danielle was glancing at the finished pages of the Spring issue, I invited Juliette to help me research for an upcoming fashion Insider. Ambrose came by my desk to ask what we were doing. I’ve never seen a kid move so quickly when he found out that we were looking at clothes. He did come back, however, when I offered him some chocolate.
We all attended mass in the Circle Media chapel and then, as a special treat we went to Applebee’s for lunch! What a good day.
When our special visitors were getting ready to leave, I thought about how blessed I am to be among these moms and their kids making a beautiful Catholic magazine and a resourceful website for active moms. Thank you for being a part of this family. It feels good to be here.
