Do You Know Religion?

Thanks to my Facebook friend Tony Rossi for sharing a link to this online quiz at the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life: How Much Do You Know About Religion? I am sharing my score here, loud and clear, for all to see.
I’ll say that even though I was tripped up on one question (and it wasn’t one of the Catholic topics!), the statistics at the end of the quiz tell me that I scored a 93%, as compared to most other white Catholics who scored only 51%. Those same statistics show that our Jewish brothers and sisters were the most knowledgeable about world religions on this quiz. I know we at Faith & Family know our Catholicism, but when it comes to other world religions this quiz showed me I still have a thing or two to learn.
I enjoyed the five minutes I spent taking the quiz and stretching my brain a bit this morning. It’s also a wonderful reminder that there is always something to discover about the ever-changing religious environment we live in today. If you have time to take the quiz and want to “fess up” about your score, share your results in the comments below. I’ll pop in later on there to tell you which question I missed.
Note - comments below may contain spoilers, so if you want a true test, don’t read the comments before taking the quiz…
