Everyday Blessings

Our friend Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle shares about her newest project

You’re about to have even more reason to love EWTN and its terrific programming!  Our good friend Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle shared on her blog recently about her upcoming television series with EWTN.  Donna-Marie’s latest project has her creating a series of short segments—entitled Everyday Blessings for Catholic Moms—for EWTN television.

If you know of Donna-Marie’s work as author of The Domestic Church: Room by Room A Mother’s Study Guide and Grace Cafe: Serving Up recipes for Faithful Mothering, you will know that her apostolate is all about encouraging and supporting women in our mothering vocation.  While I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Donna-Marie in person, I feel as though I know her heart from her beautiful writing.  I am so excited to see the fruits of her labor blossom when this new series is released.

Are you lucky enough to have EWTN on your television?  We don’t have it in Fresno, but do have access to many of their great programs through our diocesan television station.  If you have EWTN, what are some of your favorite programs on the network?  And while we’re talking media, do you have a local Catholic radio station, or access to Catholic programming via Satellite?  I’d love to hear how you get your Catholic news and information!

We’ll keep you posted on the launch of Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle’s new series, but in the mean time you should run over to her blog to view some wonderful photos from her recent visit to EWTN

We are so excited to have Donna on EWTN. She has been an inspiration to all mothers. We are also very fortunate to have EWTN on our Verizon cable provider. For up to date Catholic news we have the Catholic Channel on XM Radio so we can listen all day. But I do believe Sirus Satalite actually has EWTN broadcasts which we be a wee bit better. But so long as we are getting our daily dose we feel blessed.

Congratulations, Donna!  You make me wish we had cable! smile

Lisa, we do have a local Catholic radio station. You can access it online: http://www.yourcatholicradiostation.com/  It’s just a few years old and I didn’t listen to it at first, but in the last year I have been and I LOVE it. I have heard Donna being interviewed several times. What a blessing to hear this friend of ours talking right in my kitchen or in my van here in Fargo, ND. smile I really love the talk-show offerings—it is such great food for thought!

Thank you Sandy, Ginny, and Roxane for your kind comments. Thank you, Lisa for writing this piece. God is so good to bring us all together. I know how you feel, Lisa,  because although we haven’t met in person, the gift of technology has allowed us to be friends for years. I love your work at Catholic Mom.Com and all you do by His grace for Catholic Moms and their families.

God bless and hugs!

Donna-Marie
