Go, You!

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. I have been taking advantage of the clear sunny days recently and hanging my laundry out to dry. I have been doing my usual 2-3 loads of laundry daily, but only drying socks and underwear. Major energy savings! But mostly, it just feels good. I love my clothesline!
2. My husband has been making efforts to get me to bed earlier on a regular basis this week, and I have been obeying. Even when I am tempted to stress about all there is left to do, I have to admit that sometimes it makes much more sense to do it all well—and more efficiently—after a good night’s rest.
3. 8-year-old Stephen has been “playing Mass” several times a day. He has set up an elaborate “church” in the classroom and requests frequent attendance at his “Masses.” While these “Masses” are sometimes disruptive to my schedule, I have been attending as many as I can manage. Hello? My 8-year-old son is inviting me to play and pray with him. How can I say no to that?
Now it’s your turn! Please share all the small but significant ways you’ve been awesome so far this week.
