You might want to give a try to the little flavored ones, too. I prefer the Mandarino, once in a while, as my replacement for soda.

Early this summer, I did the unthinkable—I decided to give up Diet Coke. I know, I know—what was I thinking? It was tough, but I managed and believe it or not, I have now been over three months without a drink.
In the midst of that, a friend suggested I try sparkling mineral water as a substitute. At the time I was still reeling from my decision to just walk away from my dark master, so I didn’t give her product much thought. What in the world can make this better, I wondered and quickly realized the answer was Dr. Pepper.
However, one day last week I spotted this lovely green bottle of Pellegrino on the shelf at the grocers and remembered my friend’s suggestion. I bought the bottle, brought it home and put it in the fridge.
Over the last few days I have been having little treats here and there of this delicious elixer. I don’t suggest chugging it as you would normal water, but pouring it into a french-looking glass and sipping it ever so delicately. Perhaps while perusing your copy of the latest Le Monde.
Oh I know it all sounds hoity toity, but I’ll take it—it’s delicious and refreshing and (best of all) aspertame-free!
