I'm So Proud of You

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. In the past week, I only complained about my broken dishwasher 5,267 times when I was tempted to complain 5,268 times. Success!
2. On Tuesday afternoon, for no particular reason, I mopped my wood floors, cleaned the bathroom, and de-cluttered an upstairs bedroom. And then I endured my husband’s teasing: “When is your mother coming?”
3. I scrubbed out the kiddie pool yesterday after it had sat, filled and with occasional snake and frog occupants, for many days. Algae, anyone? Eamon’s assessment was that we just needed to “get a new pool” but CLR bathroom cleaner coupled with some good old-fashioned elbow grease did the trick.
Now it’s your turn! Please share all the small but significant ways you’ve been awesome so far this week.
