Surfing the Internet recently, it seemed everywhere I turned there was some glowing report about the iPod touch.
Arwen mentioned that getting one for her husband was a home run Christmas gift (unlike my own choices). Elizabeth talked about starting to add new apps for use with hers. And that led me to this very clever blog entry showcasing the many ways having an iPod touch would improve my life immensely. Maybe that’s overstating it, but as Melissa shows, there are all kinds of amazing ways to use this gadget.
I fell asleep the other night telling Paul about how we should really get an iPod touch because there will be so many uses for it! I really love the idea of having the Divine Office on there, of fun games for the boys, of interesting things to read. My brother was home last week and everyone loved playing with his iPhone (way more fun than our Blackberries). I also got this crazy idea, after watching Henry play with a silly little drum application while we were at lunch one day, that I could go all kinds of places with him if I had one of these! Me and the toddler at a sit-down restaurant. Me and the toddler sitting quietly in a doctor’s waiting room. The possibilities are endless.
