Lost!

It’s coming back. January 21. Did you see?

I started hyperventilating when I saw the commercial and then we had this conversation:

Dan: Do you even remember what was going on in that show last year?

Me: Well. I remember it was awesome.

That cracked me up!  I haven’t seen the preview yet, but am so excited to know that it is out there!  I love “LOST” even though I am totally lost watching it!

As always, thanks for keeping us posted about the important issues! wink

Oh my goodness—I can’t wait!  I was just asking my husband last night when it’s coming back on.  Hooray!

I’m a huge fan too!  It’s funny, my two fav. shows are Lost and Survivor - I think I have some kind of deserted island fixation (I loved Gilligan’s Island too)!  This season, we have lots of new mysteries to discover.  I listen to LOST podcasts during the off season to keep in touch with it - yep, I’m a geek!

Just re-watch season 4 at abc.com while folding laundry in the afternoon- I just did.  It’s amazing how much more you retain when you watch 4-6 consecutive hours of it smile  It all starts making sense.

DH and I are counting down the days… even though he wants to pitch the tv after every. single. episode.
We always come back for more!
smile

My favorite show!  Actually, it’s my only show.  The new season has been a looooong time coming.

I can’t wait for Lost to start up again.  Glad to see that I’m not the only one who thinks it’s a great show!  Everyone else around me has given up on the show but I’m going to keep watching until the very end!

LOST is the only thing that my husband and I will both watch and not miss an episode.  There isn’t another show out there that really interests us.

Last season was great!  And it looks like those who were left out in the water moved with the island (I saw Sawyer in the preview!).  I cannot wait!

Season 4 comes out on DVD December 9th so you will have some time to get refreshed!  In my latest how-to I show the LOST countdown Vista sidebar gadget.  You can read my post by clicking the website link by my name above : )

I’m so excited!

I rented the first season because I’d heard so much about this series. (Danielle!) Well, I sat there blinking at the screen the ENTIRE time.

Is this normal?

Perhaps you could post a tutorial on how to “get” this program. Or is it really a secret club and I’ve already failed the admissions test?

HaHa! Margaret, What is cool about LOST is that there are a couple layers to it.  You can just watch the show on the entertainment level.  The Characters are very likable, but you will quickly learn that as soon as you start liking a character, they do something that makes you not like them very much, only to later love them. And likewise, if you don’t care for a character, you will find yourself starting to like them at some point, but it is temporary.  So you can just watch LOST on strictly an entertainment level.

Or you can watch LOST on a more philosophical level.  There are many hidden clues that are beneath the surface.  If you listen to the LostCasts (Podcast) they do a great job of exploring some of these little things they have put in the show to give you a hint of what direction the show may go.  For instance, a character may be reading a certain book that may have a chapter in it that is very similar to what is happening on the Island of LOST.  There are a lot of hidden clues, some more obvious than others.

Another thing that I find interesting is that every LOST fan has a different favorite Character.  My favorite characters (hope I’m not giving too much away) are Charlie, John Locke, Mr. Eko, and Hurley. My wife Shanon likes Jack and Sayid.

But, if you didn’t get into it after watching the first Season, then I don’t know if there is any hope for you ; )
