Oh my goodness, thank you so much for sharing this! I got chills at the first word she sung!

Absolutely amazing!!!!!  I just LOVED the looks on the judges’ faces…I don’t watch Idol but I have heard about Simon & you could just SEE the joy on his face.  LOVE IT!!!!

A friend sent that to me the other night.  I’ve watched it, and cried, a few times since.  wink

I had seen this earlier this week and was so choked up by the enormity of this woman’s gift, and the humility with which she offered it.

I watched this several times yesterday and each time brought tears to my eyes!

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, says the LORD, nor are my ways your ways.”

Most of us would suppose this slightly frumpy-looking, lonely lady to have no vocal talent—after all, isn’t that reserved for the beautiful? But the Lord gifted her with an angel’s voice.

God bless her for her bravery, her humility and her willingness to share that voice with us! It was like listening to an echo of the heavenly choirs.

I was so struck by her beautiful voice, the linking of her life to the words in the song (life not being what she most liely thought it would be like), the humblness of manner, and her courage.

I also thought the reactions were just priceless!  Just when we think we know everything, a ball goes to left field for the winning run.

Thank you Lord for this humble woman who in 5 minutes has accomplished a feat, humbling the entire audience by your gifts.  Notice she sangs in her church choir: From God, To God, For God!

Amazing! This ran me through the whole spectrum of emotions. Humble, glorious, triumph! I love when someone who has lived their life gets a chance at their dream. Proof that it is never too late, and that if it be God’s will, then be it in His time!
