Faith and Family Readers Warm My Heart

an update to our Faith and Family giveaway

Well, I’ve always thought it, but this proves it. Faith and Family readers really are some of the nicest people on the planet.

After noting the popularity of the Faith and Family subscription giveaway, the super generous donors contacted me again and offered to give away 5 more gift subscriptions.

And that’s not all.

Next I heard from Christy, another reader who was touched by the number of people hoping to win a subscription. Christy offered to sponsor a gift subscription herself and sent me this message to post on the blog:

Hey there Faith and Family readers…. if you are someone who doesn’t need help buying your own subscription, please think about joining me and the original anonymous donor to help out those who can’t afford a subscription. I was sad to read all the responses of those who can’t afford to support this great resource right now, and have that inspiration at their fingertips in every issue.

Since I am due to renew another magazine, I decided to sacrifice that and donate for another prize subscription instead.  I just know that the winner will get so much more out of Faith and Family than I ever got out of my cooking magazine!  As far as I am concerned, this is a little like paying for public TV or radio. It’s easy to think of this blog as free, but it really isn’t. Please consider joining me in donating a subscription, keep Faith and Family going strong, AND provide a little prize love for the other moms who contribute so much to this community.

Thank you, Christy! Thank you, donors! We now have a total of 11 gift subscriptions in our Super Subscription Giveaway.

If you are able to sponsor a gift subscription for another Catholic family, you can make your donation right here on the website.  If you donate a subscription this way, please also .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) so that I will know to increase the number we are giving away. If you prefer to snail mail a check, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for instructions.

And finally, a big THANK YOU to every one of you. For reading, for commenting, for subscribing, and for donating. Our readers are such an integral part of what we do here at Faith and Family. Neither the magazine nor the website can continue without your ongoing support.
