That is a very important success with your Husband. I know if I have lots to do this can sometimes fall by the wayside. Well when he is home that is.
I am sure he enjoyed it.
God Bless
Moving Forward, One Small Success at a Time
Posted by Danielle Bean in Family on Thursday, October 22, 2009 6:00 AM
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. I finally cleaned out that horrifyingly bad bedroom closet I referenced in a Small Successes a couple of weeks ago.
2. For each day of this week so far, no matter how busy my days have been and no matter how much work remains for me to do at night, I have made spending evening time with my husband a priority. It has been paying off in some pretty significant ways.
3. When Daniel used the potty twice yesterday, I remained casual. I resisted the urge to freak out and turn this week into an impromptu potty-training project. Instead, I have implemented Project Let the Boy Lead. He can use the potty or not use the potty. If he does happen to use the potty, he gets a small treat. All in good time. All in good time.
Now it’s your turn. Share all of the small ways you made positive progress this week.
