New Arrival

a labor of love

I was quite excited when the FedEx man stopped by my house today—to drop off a copy of my book!

The book officially comes out April 1, so I had been wondering how soon I would get an advance copy. When I saw the truck slowing down I wondered if this was the moment and it was a little surreal to discover it was.

It’s been a very fun afternoon flipping through the book (I got just the one copy) and watching loved ones do the same. My husband is currently in our room reading, and I think the highlight was hearing my nine-year-old tell me he just *had* to bring this to school tomorrow. A very exciting time indeed.

Congratulations, Rachel!!  Can’t wait to read it!!  smile

Congratulations, Rachel!  Looking forward to another F&F book on my shelf smile

Congratulations Rachel! As someone who was privileged enough to get a “sneak peek” at your new little bundle of love, I must tell others—it’s more than worth the pre-order ... What are you waiting for? Get on it!

Congratulations, Rachel! What a fun and exciting moment! Can’t wait to read it, even though I don’t have boys. Surely there are a few similarities to girl-raising? smile I also know some moms of boys, so I’m thinking gifts ....

This is a wonderful article.

My birthday is in April - looks like I know what I will be spending my birthday money on!

Congrats!

Congratulations!

I am for sure going to order this book. I am pregnant with #2 (my oldest is a daughter), and although we don’t know the gender of #2, I am convinced that it is a boy. I am surprised at the anxiety I am having when I think about having a boy rather than a girl. So strange.

Can’t wait to read the book!

Hooray!!!  Rachel, having had the same joy myself recently, I am so absolutely thrilled for you!!  Can’t wait to see that “real book” and to share it with all of my friends.  Congratulations, and thank you so much for inspiring the rest of us with the joy and spirit you put into mothering!!  Hooray!!

Congratulations! That looks great! Now I just have to buy it and then figure out when I’ll make time to read it.
