Wow. How the world has changed. NARAL would just be apoplectic about this.
Now That's a Pro-Life Ad

At NCRegister.com I’ve been blogging a bit about feminists’ varying reactions to the upcoming pro-life Super Bowl ad featuring football star Tim Tebow. In my research, I was intrigued to come across this pro-life video featuring NFL players from 1989.
With all the furor over the subtle, tame Tebow ad, can you imagine the uproar if they dared to produce something like this today?

Wonderful video. Would that A.L.L. could sponsor more and continuing segments using this same approach to life testimonies. Small point - we need the names of the players and the teams they play for on those ads. Only a few are quickly recognizable.
I believe that the players highlighted in the clip are all former NY Giants players. The owner of the Giants, the late Wellington Mara, was a staunch pro-lifer. Chris Godfrey one of the players is the founder of Life Athletes, which promotes living lives of virtue, abstinence (chastity), and respect for life.
Heck yeah! That made my day. I think there are probably lots of people in the public eye (athletes, musicians, actors/actresses, writers) that would be willing to do something like this if approached. I wish we’d see more testimonies like this is in our current world. It certainly would aid in turning the tides of the death movement towards life and hope.
found this web site:
