Danielle kicks off this week’s episode of the Faith & Family Live Cast (click here to listen or click on the player above) with the exciting news that Sr. Sr. Patricia Proctor, OSC has joined our blogging family full time. Also, be sure to enter for your chance to win one of several annual subscriptions to Faith & Family Magazine at our Super Faith and Family Subscription Giveaway.
Our first topic for the week is Family Prayer Time, with each of us sharing the traditions that have developed in our own homes. What does family prayer time look like at your house? How do you make time for it? What are your expectations for the variety of ages that fill your homes from toddlers to teens?
Danielle shares our Faith & Family featured product for this week, The Meal Box from Loyola Press. The Meal Box contains 54 cards, each one featuring a creative question guaranteed to spark fun family conversation during family meals.
This discussion of family meal time leads to our second topic for the week - your family’s grocery budget. Each of us share how we economize when it comes to feeding our families. From coupon clipping to avoiding warehouse stores, each family has its own unique way of stretching the family food budget. Do you stick to a tight budget for groceries? What do you find are your biggest expenditures at the supermarket? In what ways do you (or do you think you could or should) save money on groceries?
Please join us in praying for the intentions of all of our Faith & Family Live! community members. We’d love your comments on this week’s show, as well as topic suggestions or questions to help us plan future episodes. Please subscribe to the Faith & Family Live Cast and help us spread the word by sharing the show with your family and friends!
