Pretty & Comfy Without the Peekaboo

Girls, please (oh, please) tell me I am not the only one who has flashed perfect strangers while tending to my baby. I ask you: Is there anything more mortifying?
You try to be a good Catholic girl, you watch those necklines and hemlines, but then the baby goes and tugs a little too exuberantly at your top and poof!, in the blink of an eye, there you are waving goodbye to your dignity.
If you’re lucky this may happen in the company of other mothers. If you’re not so lucky? Well, you could think about changing parishes, I suppose. Other than that, I got nothin’ for ya…except sympathy. Believe you me, I have buckets of sympathy for you!
Sure, I know I could wear a camisole under my top (which when faced with a potential flashing incident in front of the sweet old man next door sounds like a no-brainer) but do you have any idea how very hot it is down south right now? And I’m pregnant. So very, very pregnant. The idea of wearing layers right now sounds like a torture worse than…well, anything other than indecent exposure, really.
What else was I going to do? I set out on a search for the thinnest, lightest camisole I could find and all I can tell you is that our God is a merciful God, indeed. For what should I discover other than the existence of a sweet little something called a cropped camisole! Here ... look:
First, I met Felina and Cosabella
on Amazon.
Then, I did a quick search on Google and found an assortment of lovely cropped camisoles from Molly’s Clothing and Modestly Sassy.
I think any one of those would do just fine, don’t you? Thank heaven for small mercies.
If you know of other designers of cute cropped camisoles or have any tips for those of us will this humiliating problem, please leave a comment! I’m all ears!
Take care, ladies!
