Pro-Life Message to Air During American Idol

Catholic Vote does it again

CatholicVote.org, the folks behind the pro-life ads that were rejected during the Super Bowl for being “too political,” have succeeded in creating a new pro-life ad that has already been accepted for airing during the season finale of American Idol. Let’s pray that this beautiful, positive message reaches hearts that need to hear it most.

Awesome.  It made me teary.  Especially when considering how some of those people see abortion as a viable option.  Pray hard!  This will touch hearts.

Having been blessed by adoption in our family—I LOVE IT!!!!!

i did think the first one was better, but this was pretty great! smile

I agree the first was harder hitting but they couldn’t get it aired.  This one is being aired so hopefully it’ll make people think of adoption as a good alternative when facing a difficult pregnancy situation.

maureen, i definitely i agree!  and i think the message is awesome, and the cinematographically, its gorgeous.  i think you said it right, tho, that the first was “harder hitting” which of course, was why nobody wuold air it!

Teary-eyed, that is beautiful!

Great ad, but I wonder if any of the people featured will sue once they get wind that their “likeness” is being used to support life.

Beautifully done!

Beautifully done!!

The message is of course a good one, except that for me it is difficult to see people that have said and done things that upset me included.  But then this is the point being made.  I hope it speaks to those who need to hear.

Wow! Love it.

WOW! That is awesome!

This is awesome! We need more commercials such as this with a beautiful pro-life and pro-adoption message. I love it! Perhaps it will play on other channels as well.

that is a beautiful, eye-catching ad. great job!

What a very cool video! smile Thanks for sharing, since I don’t watch AI unlike most of the country!

This commercial is the answer to a prayer.  I was beginning to lose hope that anyone could craft a message that might get through.  This commercial is so moving, so simple, so short, so perfect…it is bound to captivate people and raise a few eyebrows.  I am a new mom and more pro-life than ever before.  The whole topic of abortion gets me weepy.  Thank you to whomever put his together.  I will pray that it achieves what we all hope it will.  Women who put their babies up for adoption are truly heroes in my book.

great add. I will certainly pray that it will touch some hearts and save some babies.

YAY!

The commercial is a beautiful first step to reminding people that adoption is an honorable, loving way to become a new family.  Remember that there are many many children, that are no longer infants, and are still waiting for an adoptive home.  Our first model of family life was the “Holy Family”.  St.Joseph was the foster father of Jesus.  It is no accident that God offered this example of family.

I love the song that plays with the commercial.  Does anyone know the artist?

This is very exciting!
