This week on the Faith & Family Live Cast (click here to listen or click on the player above), Danielle, Rachel and I take time to check in and discuss how the students in our home are doing. With midterms and progress reports hitting, we discuss how we handle grades and homework in our homes. How do you find balance in the standards you set for your kids when the reality of their school performance falls short? Are you and your spouse on the same page when it comes to grade expectations? Also, be sure to check out Kateri’s high school curriculum at Mother of Divine Grace.
Our Faith & Family Feature Product this week is ENDOW, a wonderful program based in the Archdiocese of Denver. ENDOW utilizes small study groups, conferences, and retreats to cultivate faith, fellowship and formation . Learn more about this terrific program at www.ENDOWonline.com.
In our final segment, Rachel shares with us her plans and strategy for hosting a big couples shower in her home. As the holidays approach, we discuss ideas such as pot lucks, tea parties, dessert and coffee, wine tasting parties and other ways to be hospitable but keep the budget in check. How do you manage to control costs when entertaining in your home?
