Seeking Saint Support

Many of you know that I’ve been locked away in my local university library lately, working on my second book which is due (too) soon. This project is a devotional for Catholic moms, based upon the lives of the saints.
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to spend the last few months in the company of the Communion of Saints, which was especially meaningful to me during the month of November. They are each so amazing in their own ways. As I’d study and spend time with each new saint I wrote about, it was like spending days in the company of a new friend. The “cast of characters” is quite diverse, and each of them can teach us amazing life lessons.
Now, as I wind down my work and heads towards the unenviable task of editing the manuscript, I find myself with an amazing dilemma - one remaining open spot. I’ve been praying for the past few days about who should fill this chapter, and I’ve decided to invite my friends here to suggest your favorites. You don’t need to write a lot about them - just throw out a few names that you would consider “must include” saints for this type of a book. Knowing that I can’t include them all, you will still be helping me a great deal to ensure that I’m not leaving out someone I may not yet have “met”.
Thanks so much for your constant prayers and support for me and for all of the members of our blogging family - you are the best!
