Small But Significant

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, please share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my Small Successes for this week:
1. I managed to keep up with laundry despite the fact that my dryer is (still!) not working. Some members of my family have died a thousand deaths at the humiliation of “undies on the line” but we are surviving. The new part for the dryer has been ordered and is scheduled to be installed Monday. We can do this.
2. I am wearing toenail polish! My feet are sandal-ready! Bring on summer! (I’ll settle for spring.)
3. Thanks to some recent car repairs, our budget was particularly lean this past week. But I stuck to it. And (even more difficult) refrained from griping about it.
Now let’s hear from you ... Tell us all about your accomplishments this week!
