YAY! Good for you! That’s a remarkable list!
Small But Significant
Posted by Danielle Bean in Family on Thursday, September 10, 2009 6:00 AM
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here’s what I accomplished this week:
1. We started school and I have not fantasized about quitting yet.
2. We started school and my family still has clean clothing to wear.
3. We started school and my family was still fed approximately three times a day.
Now how about you? Tell me all about the small but significant ways you have found success this week!

I can pretty much cut and paste your list. Especially #1.
1. We got through a very difficult 3 weeks (husband working CRAZY amount) and we’re in the homestretch. Everything should be back to normal today.
2. I have had a long and difficult relationship with my mom and last night we had a phone conversation in which we voiced frustration with our communication and it did NOT descend into emotional chaos.
3. I think my 3 month old is officially sleeping through the night now which is GREAT because his older brother didn’t do it until he was 18 months old.
1. I have stuck with weightwatchers for 8 weeks. (yeah!!! - that’s such a big deal for me, sticking with a diet)
2. I have been using Magnificat consistently (I usually get in 5 days per week and feel bad when I miss - which is itself a good thing)
3. I have been choosing to walk my 4 year old to school in the mornings and walk to get him at lunch. This adds a mile of walking to my day.
