Star Struck!

Sarah Bauer shines her radiance.

I’m a self confessed Catholic music groupie.  While other people may be totally into Dave Matthews or Sheryl Crow, I’ll take Matt Maher and Sarah Bauer any day of the week!  So you can imagine my excitement this past weekend at being able to personally meet Sarah Bauer at the Catholic New Media Celebration

Sarah’s songs have a way of touching my heart and inspiring me to try to be a better person.  Her song “Extraordinary” compels me more every time I hear it and “Radiance” was my personal anthem during my radiation treatments.  Sarah and her fantastic husband Chris Sansone (who is also her guitarist and songwriting partner) inspired us all last weekend with their love for one another and their joyful testimony to our Catholic faith.  Danielle and I remarked numerous times on how the relationship between these two relative newlyweds simply shines.  Music aside, Chris and Sarah are the kind of people you want to hang out with - fun, faith-filled, and full of life and energy.

I’m happy to be able to share with you the recording of Sarah’s fantastic concert at the CNMC.  Once you’ve enjoyed it, please consider supporting Sarah’s music ministry by purchasing one of her CDs or inviting her to come perform at your parish.  You can visit her at SarahBauer.com.  Enjoy!
