Congrats on this great list! The phone call from your hubby has made my entire morning with laughter…that is priceless! My husband used to call from the tax office every year to ask me when the kids’ birthdays were…he finally started carrying a little list of birthdays and ssn #‘s in his wallet! God bless our wonderful dh’s!!!
Sweet Successful YOU
Posted by Danielle Bean in Family on Thursday, September 17, 2009 6:00 AM
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here’s what I accomplished this week:
1. I have settled into a “back to school” routine. It’s still tough, but good.
2. I found 2 out of the 3 library books that have been missing/overdue on my account for about 2 months now. I’ll be returning them (and possibly paying for that 3rd mysteriously missing one) this afternoon.
3. When I was out the other day and Dan was in charge of soccer and he left me 3 different voice mail messages saying “WHERE ARE THE MOUTH GUARDS?? WHERE ARE THE MOUTH GUARDS??” I just called him, told him very sweetly where they were, and then I hung up and ... laughed.
