Here at Faith & Family Live, we’re always searching for ways to grow and expand our outreach to families, employing the latest and greatest New Media technologies to support you in your motherly vocation. Each week, we will bring you a podcast with various members of the Faith & Family Live blogging team.
During this week’s podcast episode, bloggers Danielle Bean, Rebecca Teti and Lisa Hendey carry on a conversation about Lenten experiences in our families and our own personal Lenten sacrifices. Danielle poses the interesting question, “Do our Lenten practices run the risk of turning into self improvement projects?” Rebecca shares the wonderful letter from His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI for Lent 2009.
We also take a look at the role of saints in our homes, with a look at the bloggers’ devotions to two of our favorites: St. Joseph and St. Patrick. Does your family have a favorite saint? How do you celebrate special saints in your home?
