Tell Us About It

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. Managed to say Yes more than No this week. I’ve been working on embracing the power of a positive mom. ![]()
2. I have been very good about taking my calcium supplements and ... my nails are now awesomely strong. It’s a very vain reason to take calcium supplements, I know, but when I complained about my weak nails, my mom recommended calcium and that motivated me in a way that just thinking about future bone loss never seemed to. Anyway, if you have weak or splitting nails—take some calcium. That’s my beauty/health tip of the week!
3. I am going to meet up with Rachel Balducci!!! In real life!!! We’ll both be at the CNMC this weekend. Along with Lisa Hendey and Sarah Reinhard (and lots of very cool others too numerous to mention). I’ll be sure to share pictures and all the inside information as soon as I have it.
Now it’s your turn! Please share all the small but significant ways you’ve done the right thing this week.
