Ummmm, oops?

Hey, I totally forgot to post Small Successes last week!
I apologize for leaving you all hanging ... I have no real excuse other than Life. It gets in the way sometimes. But here I am, back on track for this week and ready to acknowledge small steps forward once again ...
It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. I have been baking up a creative storm with my new waffle maker. The not-so-surprising thing is that my family prefers plain and simple waffles. Fancy pumpkin waffles with lighter-than-air texture that take a really long time and a couple dozen mixing bowls to make? Not so much. Back to the basics.
2. I took a writing project that I had been putting off for way too long and gave myself a deadline. And then met it.
3. This one is a little bit embarrassing, but here goes ... 3-year-old Daniel is finally through with pacifiers. It was getting worse than ridiculous, so we posted a progress chart on the fridge, bribed him properly (Who wouldn’t rather have an awesome new matchbox car set?), and threw them all away. Nighttime has been a smidge whinier than usual, but we’re surviving. No going back.
Now it’s your turn! You’ve had two whole weeks to accumulate successes so these are going to be good, I am sure. Please share all the small but significant ways you’ve done the right thing.
