Welcome to Faith & Family Live!

This is an exciting day for all of us at Faith & Family magazine, as our long awaited dream of creating a supportive online community for Catholic moms is at last becoming a reality. For almost four years now, I have maintained a daily blog at my own site and I have been overjoyed to see a community of Catholic mothers grow there over the years. I am now blessed with the opportunity to blog here with Arwen, Lisa, Rachel, and Rebecca—all fabulous Catholic moms and writers whom I am sure you will enjoy getting to know through their work on this site.
It is our sincere hope that Faith & Family Live! will become a daily stop for Catholic moms seeking resources, encouragement, support, and companionship as they embrace their vocations to marriage and motherhood. We plan to share personal struggles and triumphs here, challenges and joys, and also the lighter side of Catholic living.
Family life is hard work, and those of us who strive to live Catholic family lives can face unique challenges. Here at Faith & Family Live! our goal is to help one another along on our way toward heaven. Along the way, we hope to affirm something that is already written on every mother’s heart: That motherhood is a privilege. That family life is a joy. And that though being a wife and mother is likely to be the single most challenging thing any of us ever do, it is also likely to be the single most important thing any of us ever do as well.
In the end, our greatest hope is that this site won’t be just about our lives, but that it will be about yours, too. We hope to build a Christ-centered community where we can encourage and support one another in the joyful, challenging, important work of Catholic living. We invite you to pray, laugh, cry, and share the good and the bad right along with us.
Here we are. Here we go. Won’t you come in?
