Sean Clive is a Catholic husband and father of five. He also happens to be a gifted singer/songwriter who mixes his work with hefty doses of faith, family, and fun.
His newest CD, What I’ve Settled For, contains music and lyrics that will entertain and inspire Catholic families of all sizes and styles.
This is not at all a typical “praise and worship” collection. His touching lyrics and strong vocals make Clive an original musician who shares a unique life perspective.
The songs on What I’ve Settled For are the outpouring of a real man’s heart and an accurate reflection of the reality of Catholic family life—with all of its challenges, its sorrows, its joys, and its blessings.
Into Your Arms is an inspiring prayer sung from the heart. The title track, Just What I’ve Settled For, is a moving account of the hardships and the blessings of living the faith in a world that questions Catholic values. Ordinary Way is a positively beautiful love song—one that brought tears to my eyes with its honest affection and one that only a couple with a kid or two under their belts could truly “get.” Go to Sleep is a sweet and loving lullaby and Kids Are Great is a fun-filled tribute to the silliness and joys of family life.
In the end, Sean Clive‘s new CD, What I’ve Settled For, doesn’t settle for anything. It is contemporary Catholic music that inspires and entertains with its true-to-life reflection of the challenges and the joys of Catholic living.
Support great Catholic music! Check out What I’ve Settled For. You won’t be disappointed.
