Here’s some voice feedback from one of our podcast listeners, Elizabeth.
Thank you, Elizabeth! I am so touched that you bring us along to your chemo sessions and that we can be a source of support for you. We will be praying for you—for peace during your illness and healing for your body. God be with you!
I would love to recommend some other podcasts for you to consider trying out and I hope our readers will share some of their favorites too ...
Among Women
Pat Gohn (a columnist here—check out her feature article on our homepage today) offers a woman woman conversation about the Catholic faith. Wonderfully inspiring stuff!
SQPN
There are so many awesome podcasts that are part of SQPN, that I really can’t single any of them out—browse through the shows and you’ll find family material, humor, faith formation, food, and entertainment. Our own Lisa Hendey is a member of the SQPN board and her podcast Catholic Moments is produced by SQPN ... is there any wonder why it’s all so awesome?
Catholic Answers Live
I think I’ve recommended these here before, but I must mention them. I have learned so much about my faith from listening to these amazing apologists answer callers’ questions about Catholicism. It’s very helpful to hear their calm, reasoned responses to challenges and inquiries—it helps prepare me for those times when I might be called upon to defend or explain my faith. Great stuff!
This American Life
This weekly show, from Chicago Public Radio, is not Catholic, but it is very entertaining. The stories and interviews they feature have made me laugh out loud (and almost fall off my Gazelle Edge!) many a time.
Okay, enough of my stuff. Readers? What podcasts do you love?
