What We've Been Up To

I am checking in here to report the following: Lisa Hendey is a real person.
I know this because I finally had the opportunity to meet her in person this weekend at the Catholic New Media Celebration in San Antonio.
I was not at all surprised to find out that Lisa is even lovelier and sweeter and kinder and funnier and smarter and more talented in real life than she appears online—if you can imagine that.
In addition to way-too-many-to-name-them-all amazing Catholics working in new media, we had the opportunity to spend lots of time with the awesome Sarah Bauer, who is pictured here with the two of us.
We’ve featured Sarah’s music here at Faith & Family Live in the past and many of you have heard her song Radiance which she has graciously allowed us to use in our Faith and Family podcasts.
Those of you who are interested in new media but weren’t able to attend the conference in person will want to check out many of the recorded events, talks, and presentations (and Sarah’s singing!) that are available through SQPN.
I’m sure Lisa will have more (and better) notes and photos when she returns from San Antonio herself early this week, but for now I have just one more link for you: The conference made enough of a splash to get a spot on the local news: Check it out!
