What You Get From Faith & Family Magazine

Watermelon Slushies and More

“Did you know there’s a really cool summer drink you can make by mixing up watermelon chunks in a blender?” an excited 7-year-old Stephen asked the other day.

“Really?” I replied. “Where did you hear about that?”

“I saw the recipe in Faith & Family.

The July/August 2009 issue of Faith & Family magazine is now available and Stephen isn’t missing out on any of it.

Are you?

Hey, Just a little positive feedback.

I have really enjoyed the last few issues. You ladies are doing a super job:)

At last, a good reason to brave the 102 degrees and go out to the mailbox!

I was just going to say I AM missing out, and wondered where mine was!  But as I was about to type, my daughter came in with the mail, and here it is!!

What a AWESOME SUMMER COVER!!!  Being a professional photographer, the cover is the first thing I always notice.  It sets the mood of excitement for me.

My whole family loves our F&F magazine too.  But I insist on reading it cover to cover first, just because it’s not ALL for kids all of the time.  Like the marriage articles….which I love.  I just pull them out if I need to. No sense in making anyone do completely without!  That would just be MEAN!

You are doing a GREAT JOB with our favorite magazine!  Thanks for all you do!

I was flipping through and just found the article inside about taking better family photos—great tips!!  I especially encourage the last tip; one I am telling my parent clients ALL of the time.  Moms (& Dads) need to get in those photos! With your kids….alone….hair & make-up done or not! It’s SO important for your kids later on in life. I could go on and on about that.  But I won’t right now. : )

I am a (happy!) subscriber to Faith and Family, but for some reason I never got my copy of the July/August issue.  Does anyone have a spare she would be willing to send to me?  I tried to get a copy from the publisher but was told there were no more copies available.  Thanks very much!  Jennifer Carpenter

Jennifer….I just got mine today. : )  So there is still hope yours is coming.

Got mine yesterday.  It was late this time!

Is Faith and Family available at bookstores or only via subscription?

I have never seen it on the magazine racks. I think its because its a pretty small publication. So I would just subscribe. There use to be a trial offer for 1 or 2 free magazines. You can get one that way and see if you like it which Im sure you will

yes, i haven’t gotten mine yet! :(  i can’t wait!

Jennifer and others who haven’t received yours yet…I thought my July/August issue wasn’t coming either, but it did arrive on July 17th - just in time for our weekend road trip! Let’s hope yours is on the way too! I was so excited to finally get it! smile
