You Did It! Now Tell Us About It

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.
To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).
If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.
To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:
1. Organized a (Shhhh!) surprise birthday party for Raphael, who turns six on Saturday. He made me laugh a couple of weeks ago when he suggested we throw him a “surprise party,” but then I thought: Why not? I don’t think he reads this blog, so I can tell you that the big event is today at lunchtime. The hardest part of the planning was getting him to stay in his bed last night while I was sneaking to decorate a cake with a tyrannosaurus rex, but I think we’re ready, and making a surprise has really gotten his siblings into the act as well.
2. Pulled out those couches. Yes, I did. Swept in those corners. Yes, I did. Even under the heat registers. Yes, I did.
3. Got everyone signed up for baseball, T-ball, and softball. That was the easy part. The driving six different kids to thousands of fields begins very soon ...
Now it’s your turn ... Please share all the ways you were awesome this week!
