Small Successes vol. 58

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.

To participate, just write up a list of 3 of your recent Small Successes and post it on your blog along with the Small Successes button (go here to get the code). You are not required to use the button, but please do link back to the main post here. Then you can add your blog here using the Mr. Linky form (please link to the individual blog post, not the home page of your blog).

If you don’t have a blog, you can share your Small Successes in the comments.

To get us started, here are my small successes for this week:

1. I made a yummy dinner! So it was mac and cheese. But it was a yummy dinner! (I quadrupled it)

2. I finally returned a library DVD that was embarrassingly late. Never you mind about that other DVD that is also embarrassingly late but I’m not exactly sure where it is. (Thank you God for small town libraries with kindly librarians and no late fees!)

3. I have withheld judgment in the Roethlisberger case. So far.

Don’t be shy! Now it’s your turn! Please share with us all the big and small ways you’ve found success this week.

1. Cleaned the dining room table and chairs and high chair with Murphy’s Oil Soap. Just the fragrance was worth it!
2. Cleaned out the inside of the fridge.
3. Keeping on track with new budget.

Oh, I can’t believe I’ve been away from this for so long!  It’s good to share again with such a lovely group of moms…

Stayed up late last night.  Connecting with old school friends.  Uploaded some photos.  read the Bible today…going back on reflecting God’s word….and digging deep into my heart and opening myself to Him.

I am delighted to have discovered this site, which I will recommend to my readers.

This is fun to do!  It’s good to stop during the day & see that all the little things do add up!  Thanks!

Washed the windows inside (not outside yet on the tall ones I have to wait until it is not raining) Ironed and starched my dh and ds button down shirts to the tune of around 60 shirts.  Went through almost 2 bottles of starch!! Went through the toy closet and got rid of 2 contruction bags of toys Yeah

GREAT JOB Danielle, and love your food link. Your next book needs to be your recipes!

1. I made it through to Friday.
2. I made it through to Friday.
3. I made it through to Friday.
Do you think I"m stressed out a bit?    : )  Just writing this down is easing it a little.  One word.  TEEN

I am right there with you Joan.

1.  I saw the bottom of a laundry basket today!
2.  I took advantage of warm weather (rare in New England in March):  I chucked the “to do list” and went outside and puttered in the yard - felt SOOO Good and the littlest ones loved the time outside…
3.  I got to spend time with daily readings this week.
