I was walking through a store, feeling very down over a multitude of family problems. I was praying, I always ask God to send me a butterfly in some form that He is hearing my prayers. I turned to go down an aisle that said “clearance” & there facing me was a canvas tote bag with 9 beautifully colored butterflies on the front, at a price of $2.48 ! I was sharing the story with a good friend today & remarked about it having “9” butterflies on it & she said “Oh, for a 9 day novena” ! She then said “say one in thanksgiving for God hearing your prayer”.
“God honors faith, Faith honors God” !

1. Getting through my day without raising my voice to my kids (I ‘devoured’ your article about ‘yelling no more’ when your magazine arrived yesterday!).
2. Getting each of my 3 kids to tidy their rooms this morning.
3. Finding the time to curl make my oldest daughter’s hair wavy by braiding it while it was damp following her bath last night.  She’s wanted me to do that for several months! Love those un-hurried summer months!

1. Since mass last Sunday on the Holy Mother, I have taken time each morning to say three hail marys and meditate on mary.
2. I am a social services caseworker and this week I have dedicated myself to telling each client to have a good day at the end of our phone call.
3. Even though it was extremely hot yesterday, I played outside with my two year old instead of doing household chores.

Extremely hot?  I want to know where you live so that I can go there:-)

Why can’t I link the small success button. That will be my major success if I could actually insert it into my wordpress blog.

I’m having the same problem Kristine!

1. Getting all the dishes cleaned up, lunches made, kids to bed by 8 and all with no crying tonight!!
2. Getting my youngest daughter to say her prayers tonight all by herself!
3. Spending lots of time doing crafty things with my two younger ones since the rain kept us indoors.

I am not sure why you are having a problem with the button. If you copy the code form the boxes above and paste it directly into a blog post, it should appear as the button, linking back to F&F. Which blogging platform are you using?

1.  Asked him to and my son taught me how to play Wii bowling (got Wii for Christmas) and we had a nice game together.  I had never played it at all before.
2.  Arranged for credit counseling appt., had the appt. and the counselor said, “keep doing what you’re doing.” (am in post-divorce debt due divorce and ongoing court costs)  Yeah!
3.  Saw my therapist, something I often put off because they don’t take insurance;  amazing, faith-filled lady who reminds me that I’m a good mom and to keep persevering.

I’m having issues with the button too. When I copy & paste the coding into my blog, it just shows up as text instead of a button. I am on blogspot.

This was my first time trying to put a button on my blog.  The big one gave me an error, but I was able to copy and paste the smaller one successfully!  Now, I have to go back and find out how I’m supposed to link back to this.

thanks for this great way to share positive things with others and remind myself that I need to focus on and be thankful for the small things!
