Since we found out the news about the twins two days ago, I’ve felt like the whole world is a little… surreal. I said to my husband on Monday night, “Maybe we will wake up in the morning and realize this twin thing was just a long weird dream.”

Resuming Routines, Grinding Gears

Have you ever learned to drive a standard transmission? You know that horrible grating, grinding sound the gears make when you shift them incorrectly? I think I heard that sound today.

Camilla wants another brother.
Depending on her mood, she sometimes asks for a sister instead. But mostly she asks for a brother.
People inquire how the toddler is handling having a baby in the house, and it makes me happy to tell them she’s doing beautifully. I think the fact that she already wants another baby is a good sign!
