For me, this is one of the cool things about having children: my kids are small, new-ish people… who think my husband is all kinds of awesome. Just like I do.

Not Science, But…

As of Monday I was six weeks pregnant. It’ll be months until we find out the sex of our baby but I’ve already predicted the sex: girl.

Propelling my daughter through her bedtime routine, I often feel like I’m trying to drag her through wet cement.
Some evenings I think I’d prefer the wet cement prospect.

My youngest sibling is about to graduate from high school, and he’ll be going away to college this fall. My parents are about to be empty-nesters. Compared to a decade ago, their house seems quiet these days.
