Here’s a simple idea to help make supermarket planning and budgeting easier.
Grocery List Wizard is a handy, free site where you can create a shopping list, automatically list items by grocery aisles where they are found, estimate costs of your purchases, and print a copy to take along with you to the store.
Very handy (and the fact that a Catholic family man is behind this operation comes as no surprise)!

In case anyone’s been wondering how my laundry project turned out, I am officially declaring it a success. I recently read yet another article about the costs of having kids, this one focusing particularly on the costs of baby stuff.

When Dan told me how much our electric bill was for last month, I nearly choked.
