Other People's Teeth

Today, my sixteen year old Adam has a routine dentist appointment. He’s capable of driving himself to see our awesome family dentist, but for some reason I still feel compelled to accompany him, to sit with him in the waiting room, and to hear the report that “no cavities” mean he’s been brushing and flossing (well, probably not flossing…).

So Sick of Ice Cream

As I mentioned in today’s podcast, my oldest daughter Kateri had some teeth pulled this week.
Five of them, in fact. One of which was impacted. The poor thing.
The first day was pretty rough and she didn’t want much more than a few popsicles and something to drink.

On my “to do” list for today is an item I’ve moved around four times prior to successfully completing it: my semi-annual dental checkup. With the slightest excuse, I find a reason to reschedule this dreaded experience. Today, it’s time to pay the piper…
