My cousin emailed me asking about how much snow was on the roof because houses with low-incline roofs were in danger of collapsing.
She recommended that we try to chip away at the ice dams on the edge of the roof that prevent drainage.
The idea of the roof caving in was certainly enough to motivate me to take action.

Since the start of the new year, I have been enjoying following the Homemade 365 blog.
Jennifer, the blog author, has committed to making and posting about something “homemade” for every day of the year.
