Today I ran into an acquaintance I had not seen since last summer. This woman suffered the devastating loss of her teenage son a few months ago and and today was the first I had seen her since that sad time.
“I am so sorry,” I told the woman today, “we have been praying for you.”

Here’s a great resource for Catholic men (and for those of us who have ever wondered just what on earth is going on inside men’s heads):
The latest video posted at the Knights of Colmubus website Fathers for Good features Dr. Richard Fitzgbbons, a Catholic psychiatrist. Fitzgibbons takes on the challenging topic of men and their emotions: “Learn how to control your emotions without denying them—and live a healthier life at work and at home.”
