Here is a clever idea if you want to send something other than a cartoon-character store-bought Valentine this year—a handmade flower Valentine.
I made a batch of these this afternoon using a larger heart (because I had larger lollipops). They turned out very cute, and I had on-hand everything I needed to make the craft.
Of course, the older boys are totally doing sports-themed Valentines picked up at Target. But the toddler will be delivering these to a few of his close, personal friends. Very sweet indeed.

In honor of today’s feast, I decided to go looking on Etsy for rosaries.
Did you know an Etsy search for handmade “prayer rosaries” yields 1,588 results? Even assuming some of it is accessories rather than actual prayer beads, that’s still a lot of rosaries!
