Hello ladies!
The Kentucky Derby is here! Will any of you lovely Kentucky girls be attending (or otherwise celebrating) this weekend? I must admit, being a Southern transplant, I don’t know much about the Derby. The first thing that always comes to mind when I hear it mentioned is ... well, Mint Juleps! Now that’s a tradition I can get behind! ![]()

Hatting It Up

Our eight-month-old Blaise is teething (endlessly) and grumpy (apparently also endlessly).
So this morning Camilla and I entertained him, and ourselves, by putting various things on his head. We enjoyed it, and surprisingly he did too.
The orange plastic bowl pictured was the crowd favorite. Next time, I’m going to try to get a shot of him wearing a beanbag.
Do you have any pictures posted of your kids wearing funny objects as hats? If you do, please share links in the comments! We can have a Funny Hat Fest, which sounds like a great celebration for fall.
If you have any tips for amusing grumpy, semi-mobile babies, please share those too!
