The Queenship of Mary

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley, of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

More prayers, information, and celebration at Catholic Culture, Domestic-Church, Women for Faith and Family, and the Crossroads Initiative.

In 358, Our Lady appeared in a dream to Giovanni, a man who... READ MORE

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

If you are as “organized” as I am, you might have missed beginning a novena to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 9 days ago. You can still honor her feast day, though, by watching this video about the feast , learning more about devotion to the scapular, and praying a novena prayer to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel:

O most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, blessed Mother of the Son... READ MORE
